Part 1: Trans 101

 

Training Overview

In this Trans 101 session, participants will learn the basics of transgender and non-binary identities, lived experiences, and the crucial skills necessary for supporting transgender and non-binary people. This foundational knowledge will help you gain the information and skills that you need to navigate many social and professional situations in a trans-affirming way. Attendees can expect to follow along with structured lessons, work through engaging activities, and participate in personal reflections that will help synthesize new knowledge and skills.

Please Note: This course runs from 10:30 AM to 2 PM. There is a half hour break from 12:00-12:30 PM.  Participants must attend the entire training in order to receive a certificate of completion.  Completion of this training is required to attend Part 2 & 3.
